About Crafted Dining

I'm Brenton Thornton, the executive chef and owner of Crafted Dining. The experience behind this project stems from 12 years of working as a professional head chef, in high end restaurants, cafes, luxury hotels and as a private chef for some very high calibre clientele.

The ethos of Crafted Dining is to create a dining experience that focuses on providing restaurant quality food and service, from the comfort of our client's own homes or preferred venues. We have a variety of menus that champion the very best New Zealand produce, influenced by tastes from around the world.

We cover most cuisines and provide menus in a sharing plates format, or a plated degustation depending on our client's preferences. We are a small boutique business with a team of professionals that are experts in their field and take pride in their craft, providing a beautifully Crafted Dining Experience, every time you trust us with your function.  

Our main point of difference is a focus on showcasing the best locally sourced New Zealand produce and the most exciting selection of international ingredients. These are the building blocks of menus artfully prepared by chefs who are masters of their craft, sure to impress and delight your guests.
